This Privacy Policy describes how Hightech Industry Canada (1001014098 Ontario Inc.) collects, uses, stores, and protects information through the Hightech Accounting Connector.
When an authorized user connects a QuickBooks Online company, the application may access company details, accounts, vendors, customers, products and services, bills, invoices, payments, tax-related fields, transaction references, and attached accounting documents.
The application may also process OAuth authorization identifiers, connection status, synchronization records, error logs, and audit information required to operate and secure the integration. We do not request or store the user’s QuickBooks password.
Information is used only to connect authorized QuickBooks Online accounts; read accounting records and mappings; prepare, create, update, verify, and reconcile authorized accounting transactions; prevent duplicate entries; maintain audit records; troubleshoot and secure the integration; and comply with legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal or accounting information. Information may be shared only with Intuit, authorized Hightech Industry Canada personnel and accounting professionals, service providers required to operate the application, or government and regulatory authorities when legally required.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted connections, restricted access, and authorization controls.
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, audit, security, operational, and legal purposes. Although reasonable safeguards are used, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
An authorized user may disconnect the QuickBooks connection through the application or QuickBooks Online. Disconnecting stops future access but does not automatically remove records that must be retained for accounting, legal, audit, or security purposes.
Requests to access, correct, or delete eligible information may be sent to info@hightech001.ca. We may verify the requester’s identity and authority before processing a request.
QuickBooks Online is provided by Intuit and is governed by Intuit’s own terms and privacy policies.
